Payment Information

Payments on the VIRPIL Controls EU webstore are handled by Braintree Payments (a PayPal Company). The primary method of payment is via Debit or Credit card - these payments are processed externally by Braintree Payments without leaving the VIRPIL Controls EU site. VIRPIL Controls does not see nor store any payment information.

All prices are listed in Euros (€), excluding VAT. When purchasing from within an EU member country, you will not be expected to pay any additional customs fees and VAT will be calculated at the checkout. Rest of world customers will only be charged the excluding VAT price and will be expected to pay any local taxes once the order is received by their local import office. For the exact charges including product taxes, import duty and customs fees, please contact the courier, your local import office or review your local government website for more information on importing products.

If you receive a payment declined error on the checkout page, please double check that the entered details are correct - any continued issues are almost always due to the card provider blocking the transaction. This can be resolved simply by contacting the provider.

Both VIRPIL Controls EU and Braintree Payments take data security and fraud prevention very seriously. The Braintree Payment gateway boasts the following security features:

Level 1 PCI compliant - Braintree is a validated Level 1 PCI DSS compliant service provider.
Industry recognition - Braintree is on Visa's Global Compliant Provider List and Mastercard's SDP List.
No prohibited data storage - Braintree do not store raw magnetic stripe, card validation code, or PIN block data.
VIRPIL Controls EU does not directly receive or store any payment information.
