The Universal Control Panel #3 is the latest addition to the VIRPIL Control Panel lineup. Based on the hugely popular SharKa-50 Control Panel, the UCP#3 features a number of changes based on community feedback, including generic universal button panel labels and toggle switch alterations.
The VIRPIL Controls Universal Control Panels are the perfect addition to any advanced pilot's cockpit to dramatically increase the number of programmable inputs without having to reach for the keyboard!
The Universal Control Panel #3 is based on the popular SharKa-50 Control Panel, but now includes generic non-aircraft specific labelling to cater for those who pilot many different aircraft. With 4 digital axis levers and a huge array of programmable inputs, even the most demanding pilots will be satisfied! The RGB momentary push buttons are equipped with a transparent cap which can be removed to inset your own button inlays - perfect for labelling your controls! Sticker inlay sheets are included with the VPC Control Panel.
The Universal Control Panel #3 can be added to your VPCockpit in a number of different ways. It can be used on a desktop using the included legs, it can be mounted onto the VPC Desk Mounts and it can also be combined with another Control Panel or Throttle to form a single unit.
VPC Control Panels can operate as a standalone USB device, or they can be daisy-chained using the AUX connector to appear as a single input device which allows further control programming options.
Featuring high precision machined duralumin, an aircraft grade alloy, mechanics manufactured in-house by VIRPIL Controls, you will experience the ultimate quality for home flight sim controllers!
Utilising a real, physical finger-lift detent system, the MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle can be configured to require lifting to pass through a detent to prevent accidental crossover into the idle cutoff or afterburner range. Alternatively, push-through detent plates can be installed which provide tactile feedback when crossing the detent, without requiring the use of the finger-lifts.
Included Detent Plates:
★ Classic - Lift to pass detents, push return.
★ Classic Plus - Lift to pass detents, push return but with an additional tactile bump immediately after lifting.
★ Warthog-Type - Lift to pass and lift to return detents.
★ Aerobatic - Push through and push return detents.
★ CosmoSim - Push through central detent.
The detent plates can be adjusted forwards and backwards to position them where you need them within the axis range. The plates can also be mixed and matched between sets to provide a huge number of configuration possibilities.
The dual throttle control system allows for independant control of two engines. The throttle handles can be locked together to synchronise both engines, or they can be split using the quick-lock toggle for precise differential thrust control.
THROTTLE ANALOGUE STICK
Featuring a full sized analogue stick located on the index finger positon. This is perfect for using for SLEW controls, strafing in space-sims or as a cursor control.
5-WAY MODE DIAL
Configurable as either 5 independent button inputs, or as 5-way shift modifier, allowing you to configure up to 5 actions to every input. You won't run out of space for your keybinds with the MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle.
PROGRAMMABLE RGB LIGHTING
The B1-B6 momentary push buttons are more than meets the eye - with full programmable RGB backlighting that can be configured based on button states or aircraft status, we also include sticker sheets to help you label your buttons for easy recognition!
